×For designers in the consumer goods, electronics and automotive sectors, the Stratasys J850 Prime enables you to get through the prototype stages faster, more efficiently and cheaper. This full-colour machine can print in over 500,000 colours, removing the need to paint your model by hand. It is certified by Pantone, ensuring that the colour you choose at the design stage will be exactly the same as the one used in production. The machine is twice as fast as previous generation J-series machines when in a new super-high-speed mode, and it can be loaded with seven materials at once.
The J850 is compatible with the Pantone Matching System (PMS). This enables you to match outputted colours to all of the ones listed in Pantone’s SkinTone guide and nearly 2,000 from Pantone Formula Guide Solid Coated guide. Combined with Pantone verification, this ensures that the colour you choose will be the same throughout the prototyping and production process.
Using Stratasys’ GrabCAD Print software, you can design your model in CAD software and print directly to the J850 Prime without having to spend time converting the data into an STL format file. You can get an in-depth preview of your model before you send it to print, plus set your Pantone colours, removing the need to run trial and error jobs to colour match.
