One Day FDM Training Course

Our Stratasys approved FDM training courses are suited to each level of operator. They include tips and tricks on how to maintain your FDM 3D printer to the highest standards as well as in-depth training on GrabCAD Print and Insight software.

The duration of the course you choose is primarily dependent upon your system. The location can be either on the customer’s site or at Laser Lines’ facility in Banbury. The courses are ideally constructed for participants who are either new machine operators or customers new to 3D printing generally. There is no prerequisite to attending this course

This course covers all the basics for successfully printing models, as well as operations and user-maintenance procedures necessary for achieving optimum results from your 3D printer. It combines hands-on sessions with teacher-led instruction. Also see our two day FDM and custom courses.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand safety precautions and procedures
• Understand what the different materials and consumables are for
• Operation of the FDM 3D Printing system – Material replacement & tip/print head replacement
• Calibrate the system and perform basic maintenance procedures
• Use the pre-processing software (GrabCAD Print/Insight) as required for part setup and printing
