MakerBot Method bridges the divide between desktop prototyping and final part production – at a remarkable price. Combining the speed and accuracy of an industrial 3D printer with the space-saving design of a desktop unit, MakerBot Method features a circulating heated chamber, ultra-rigid metal frame and dual performance extruders. So easy to use that it doesn’t require an on-site technician, this is the perfect solution for use in an environment where every member of the development team will have a hand in the design and production process.

Compatible with software from SolidWorks, Autodesk, CATIA, Rhino and TinkerCAD, it fits into your existing workflow. Method is built to facilitate demanding use without demanding a lot of space.

Built to perform

Don’t be fooled by Method’s diminutive dimensions. Its dual print heads achieve dimensional accuracy of between ±0.2mm and ±0.002mm per millimetre of travel while maintaining a filament flow rate of up to 50 cubic millimetres per second. With a maximum build volume of 190 x 190 x 196mm and a choice of layer resolutions spanning 20 to 400 microns, you can prioritise speed for developmental designs, or quality on presentation parts.

Versatile and easy to accommodate

MakerBot Method supports PLA, Tough PLA and speciality materials today – with more in development, making this a printer that will grow in tandem with your developing demands. It is bundled with MakerBot Print and MakerBot Mobile which, thanks to its Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity options, let you control and monitor every print job remotely.
