Realistic, transparent concepts
- A transparent, rigid material.
- Simulates acrylic and polymethyl methacrylate.
- Excellent clarity when polished, lacquered or photo-bleached.
- Used in ground-breaking design projects.
Design, print, test
VeroClear (RGD810) supports your project at every stage. Using this transparent material, you can print individual components within a more complex design, or a larger part of the design in transparent form so you can see how internal components work or fit together.
Used as a material for whole prototyping, VeroClear allows you to simulate a wide range of products, from glasses lenses to medical components; glassware to automotive glazing. From design concept to full test, you can keep control of your project, reduce timescales and reduce your budget.
Better prototypes, better outcomes
Rapid prototyping helps you to stay ahead of the competition. Using 3D printing in-house not only reduces your timescale – and your budget – it also gives you the opportunity to improve the quality and accuracy of your prototypes.
Using VeroClear with other products in the Vero materials collection allows you to accurately simulate a complete product. Your prototype is realistic in every way – form, function and finish. This helps you to see where your design needs to be improved or amended without the time and expense of outsourcing your prototype to a third party.
From seeing how your product will work in practice to knowing whether it will fit into the packaging for delivery, you retain complete control over your project. VeroClear will become an indispensable part of your design team.
You can polish a VeroClear part to improve the clarity of the model, while adding a clear lacquer coat straight after printing gives the parts a shine and helps to protect the surface. So long as you use a clear glue, parts can be glued together without a loss of clarity.
