The Stratasys J835 3D printer means users can create realistic models and prototypes that look and feel like real products easier and faster than ever before, without the need for painting or assembly. Ideal for use in smaller labs, production suites and educational organisations, the J835 produces amazing results with full colour capability and a great finish. The J835 offers superb flexibility for users with a large number of materials available and the ability to print in 500,000 colours. It also supports soluble and water jet-removable support materials and offers a minimum layer thickness of just 14 microns. The printer is Pantone Validated enabling the Pantone Matching System (PMS) colours to be produced by the 3D printing system.
The J835 printer uses a new, larger cost-efficient cartridge, which leads to fewer changeovers, minimises air penetration and cuts leftover resin in half, creating a more efficient printing experience. The printer also has a large material capacity and includes an additional material channel which reduces downtime and provides the same reliability and repeatability of its predecessor, the award-winning J750. Being able to use a range of different materials allows for complex prototypes and models including different textures, transparency and flexibility attributes all in one print.
The J835 uses GrabCAD Print software, which lets users print directly from their favourite CAD formats, avoiding time usually spent converting and fixing STL files. Matching Pantone colours is a single step in the software, eliminating time-consuming painting and trial and error colour matching. For the fastest creation of concept models, users can pick Super High Speed mode with DraftGrey materials. Additional print modes support multiple materials and higher print resolutions.
