Trade-in and trade-up for big savings on a new 3D printer
This week’s blog is brought to you by our materials business manager Daniel Curtis, who takes a look at our successful trade-in policy
In the rapidly-changing world of 3D printing, our machines are faster and better than ever, with the added bonus of being able to use an increasing range of materials. To ensure you’re not left behind by the competition, it’s vital to keep pace with the latest technological developments in the industry.
At Laser Lines we recognise the importance of stocking the latest products to enable our customers to improve and expand the solutions they can offer to their clients. Not only do we make sure our product portfolio is both current and effective, but we do our utmost to facilitate our customers’ ability to bring the latest technology in-house.
For any businesses thinking about upgrading their legacy Stratasys 3D printers or those who have another brand of 3D printer they’d like to replace with a new device from Stratasys, our trade-in scheme is a great place to start.
Up to 20% off a Stratasys 3D printer
Laser Lines accepts any 3D printer, and by any, we mean any brand, any age, any condition, as a trade-in deposit against a brand new Stratasys machine (terms and conditions apply). The deposit value offered will depend on the machines being traded in and bought, but with discounts of up to 20% available, you can see why many of our customers go down the trade-in route.
That’s our standard offer, but currently we have a special deal for owners of HP DesignJet and uPrint models. You can trade-in and trade-up to a Fortus 250mc for a 23% discount or an Objet 30 Prime for a 26% discount.
Some complimentary consumables can also be included as part of the deal – ask us for more details.
Up to 10% off for Makerbot owners
Let’s not forget our Makerbot deal: if you have a Makerbot 3D printer, you can get up to 10% off a brand new Stratasys model (terms and conditions apply). But instead of trading it in, you get to keep your existing Makerbot model! Give us a call on 01295 672588 to find out more.
In case you’re wondering what a new 3D printer can do for you, the two devices garnering the most interest among our customers at the moment are the Stratasys Fortus 900 and Fortus 450mc.
Fortus 450mc
The Fortus 450mc is much quicker than its predecessor, with the ability to print parts 20 per cent faster than the Fortus 400mc.
Customers that want to make mid-sized parts are finding it incredibly useful, especially with such a wide range of durable and robust plastics available. With a large build envelope of 406 x 355 x 406mm, the Fortus 450mc is pushing the boundaries of what is possible with rapid manufacturing.
Fortus 900
The largest of the Fortus range, this is the top-of-the-range FDM machine from Stratasys. With a 914 x 610 x 914mm envelope it’s the ideal machine to build jigs, fixtures and even short-run parts. It can use any of Stratasys’ nine FDM high performance thermoplastics and has three layer thicknesses to choose from.
Not only does our trade-in scheme provide some of the best technology on the market at very competitive prices, but it is all underpinned by our commitment to market-leading post-sales support. Our team of highly experienced engineers ensures business continuity.
Our extensive consumables stock, delivered from the UK, means that we can guarantee next-day delivery. Neither you nor your customers have to wait for overseas shipments for you to finish the job.
