Xact Metal XM200G

Metal 3D printing is no longer just for huge companies with vast budgets. Xact Metal produces revolutionary metal 3D printing machines that bring the advantages of metal additive manufacturing to SMEs. Its latest model, the XM200G, offers its largest build volume yet at 150 x 150 x 150mm, alongside its fastest build times so far. Choose the Xact Metal XM200G with a single 100W, 200W or 400W Yb fibre laser for high-quality parts at an affordable price. Or upgrade to the XM200G2 for dual 100W, 200W or 400W Yb fibre lasers for Xact Metal’s fastest build times and the ability to assign each laser to a different area of the build tray.

Key Features

  • Metal powder-bed fusion technology produces an excellent surface finish and repeatable parts using proven methods you can rely on.
  • Single or dual lasers are available, giving you the flexibility to choose a configuration that suits your needs and budget.
  • A high-speed galvanometer works together with a premium-quality F-theta lens to provide consistent and accurate builds
  • Produces parts up to four times faster than the Xact Metal XM200C.
  • An open material platform gives users the option to develop build parameters for metal powders of their own choice.
  • Businesses in sectors such as the jewellery and dental markets can take advantage of the extra-fine detail this machine can offer, along with its fast production speed.

Easy to control

A large 18.5-inch touchscreen makes it easy to load and set up files, while making it simple to monitor the print in real-time. The build queue contains descriptions of all forthcoming jobs. Intuitive menus let you alter the parameters for the best possible results, while a monitoring section displays vital information such as the temperature of the build bed and chamber.

No touch powder removal

Available as an option is a glovebox, which allows you to remove the powder without opening the build chamber. If your health and safety requirements are that you should minimise your contact with the metal powder, this lets you do this while still reaping the benefits that powder bed fusion technology provides.
