Objet260 Connex3

The Objet260 Connex3 is a multi-colour, multi-material compact 3D printer, perfect for office use. Powered by PolyJet technology, it allows realistic and highly accurate models to be produced to a professional standard. The Objet260 boasts the widest range of material properties for its class – from translucent to opaque, rigid to flexible. With a material mixture of up to three base resins, users can easily build models containing parts with multiple properties and features e.g. rubber-like and clear parts. This feature can be used with single models or a mixed tray of smaller parts.

With a Connex3 printer, vibrant models and prototypes can be built, in a vast range of colour and multicolour options. With Objet Studio software included, and the option to add the Stratasys Creative Colours software, workflow is enhanced through intuitive programming and realistic preview features.

Materials

Composites created through the mixing of 3 base materials allow a huge variety of characteristics to be replicated, from surface finish to shore hardness. Form and function may no longer need to be a choice with over 1000 material mixes possible. The add-on Stratasys Creative Colours Software, powered by the Adobe 3D Colour Print engine, allows improved workflow, more realistic previews and the ability to use gradient colours and texture mapping. The Objet260 Connex3 is also compatible with GrabCAD Print software.

Workflow

The Stratasys 3D printer signature triple-jet platform makes for smooth parts and an even smoother workflow. The Connex3 range utilises a larger materials cabinet, containing 8 cartridges, offering greater unattended running time. Fewer material changeovers are required and the Objet260 offers hot-swapping capability, so an empty cartridge can be replaced whilst a second cartridge of the same material is still in use.
