Stratasys J35 Pro Multi-Material Desktop Polyjet Printer demos now available at Laser Lines’ Banbury HQ

Laser Lines, the UK’s most established reseller of 3D printers and materials, today announces that it is showcasing the UK’s first Stratasys J35 Pro at its Banbury facility, with the Polyjet machine already in high demand.

The J35 Pro 3D printer brings the power and versatility of Polyjet printing technology to an office desk for the first time. It is perfect for creating everything from concepts to high-fidelity, realistic, fully functioning models. Engineers and designers can not only see what the product will look like, but also test the functionality of it in the pre-production stage.

Mark Tyrtania, sales director at Laser Lines, said: “Since Stratasys announced the J35 Pro earlier this year, we have had a lot of interest as the multi-material, desktop 3D printer is so versatile. It is ideal for both an engineering and design office setting and has the option for users to combine up to three materials that can be printed simultaneously.

“The realistic finish the printer achieves means it produces convincing prototypes, which in turn helps accelerate the design process and get a product to market faster. Being able to test a product’s functionality so early in the manufacturing process is a game changer.”

The Stratasys J35 Pro Polyjet printer can incorporate up to three materials that can produce different, single material parts on the same tray or combine them on a single model. Applications include over-molding, filling simulation and printing in full grey scale.

The multi-material capabilities of the printer enable designers and engineers to incorporate the widest variety of grayscale colours and materials into a single print, while layer thicknesses down to 18 µm help to achieve complex shapes, intricate details and delicate features without diminishing quality or accuracy.

For models requiring characteristics including rubber-like, high impact, rigid, translucent and contact biocompatibility, there are a variety of materials available including Elastico, Digital-ABS, Vero and UltraClearS..

The J35 Pro also offers a simple design-to-print workflow powered by GrabCAD Print, which lets users import their designs using native CAD files or 3MF file formats.

Customers wanting a demo at Laser Lines’ Banbury facility should call Laser Lines on 01295 672599, or email [email protected]. Orders can now be taken for the unit, which is shipping this month.
