UK-First: Orlas Creator in action on Laser Lines stand at TCT Show

Laser Lines, a total solutions provider of 3D printers and scanners, will be showcasing a UK-first on stand D56 at this year’s TCT Show from 26 – 28 September 2017 – the UK’s first demonstration of the Orlas Creator 3D metal printer.

The Orlas Creator by OR Laser is a fully contained, powder bed additive manufacturing system, set to provide the world-class standard for metal printing for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

With the capability to produce components from a wide variety of metal powders, including aluminium, stainless steel, tool steel, cobalt chrome, titanium, nickel based alloys and precious metals, the Orlas Creator is perfect for product manufacture in the jewellery, dental and medical markets. It is also perfect for prototyping and R&D applications in the engineering and aerospace industries.

With a compact footprint, an £110,000 price point and an innovative 360-degree print rotating arm, the system incorporates a powerful 250w fibre laser, ensuring maximum productivity at all times.

Also on Stand D56, Laser Lines will be showing the full range of its 3D printing technologies. These will include entry-level products from Makerbot with the Replicator+ and Z18 machines, FDM solutions including the Fortus 450mc and the Stratasys F370, the flagship model in the Stratasys F123 series launched earlier this year. The Stratasys J750 will also be on the stand, which delivers true full-colour capability, enabling users to create prototypes that look and feel like a finished product.

Mark Tyrtania, Sales Director at Laser Lines, said: “Last year’s TCT was a tremendous show for us and we are very excited about showing the full range of technologies we supply, as well as being able to show the Orlas Creator working on the stand for the first time. We will also be demoing several Evatronix eviXscan 3D scanners, and our bureau team will be on hand to answer customers’ questions.”

Laser Lines has over 20 years’ experience in the 3D printing and scanning sector, so is often the first point of call for customers who want to find out more about the realities of installing a system for manufacturing, rapid prototyping or reverse engineering.

Mark adds: “TCT is a great show for customers and prospects alike who are researching technologies to see which ones will work best for them. Our team of experts are on hand to explain and answer technical queries across the full spectrum of 3D printing technologies.

“As a supplier of the full range of Stratasys products and OR Laser’s metal AM machine, we are best placed to give a no-nonsense response, as our experience is broader than any other supplier out there.”
