Comet 1A Restoration with Nylon 12

Nylon 12 was the material of choice for Alan Higson when he needed to replicate a Pedestal Bracket with a 3d printer for restoration work on an airliner. The part was designed from scratch using CAD software, based on photos taken an archive. Alan, a volunteer at the De Havilland Aircraft Museum in London Colney, is restoring the fuselage of the sole surviving Comet 1A airliner.
