Laser Lines first with game-changing full-colour 3D printer
Mark Tyrtania, Sales Director at Laser Lines, explains why the new Stratasys J750 is a game-changer for UK 3D printing.
Laser Lines has been in the 3D printing business for over 20 years, and every so often an exciting new product comes along that changes what’s possible. Thanks to the new Stratasys J750, 2016 is one of those years. The world’s only full colour, multi-material, high resolution 3D printer is also simply the best model I have ever seen.
‘Full colour’ means exactly that – there are over 362,000 colours to choose from. You can also use six different materials on a single part, which in practical terms means that you can produce models that are more realistic than ever, with no need for additional painting.
The printer is so good, I would say you could simulate pretty much anything: if you can draw it on the screen, the J750 can print it.
Simplicity, versatility, value for money
It’s easier to use than ever too. There’s a new version of PolyJet Studio with redesigned, simpler menus. Crucially, it also lets you apply texture maps to your file. That means you could take any image from the internet, apply a texture map and print it.
Thanks to the J750’s huge number of features, you can replace several machines you currently have dedicated to colour, prototyping and detail with one. Just think of the space, training, material and maintenance costs you could save.
The J750 is also incredibly fast: twice as fast as the Connex3 in DM mode. There’s also virtually no need for costly material changeovers, as you can mix flexible, transparent, rigid and colour materials on the same tray, making the printing process faster still.
This is the revolution the 3D printing industry has been waiting for. Designers are always asking us for ways the models they make for presentations can be more realistic – the J750 makes this a reality.
For those conducting trials of new products, you can use the J750 to produce small numbers of your products that look like the final item, changing the product straight away as you get feedback rather than waiting for new models to be made.
Come and see it
This is just the beginning. I’d love to show you just why the J750 is such an incredible step forward and we are the only UK reseller to have demo units in our Banbury office to show off now, along with some beautiful samples of the sorts of things you can achieve. It will blow your mind. It will also be on display at our stand at the MACH Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham from 11 – 15 April.
Our 3D printing bureau will be the first in the country to be able to offer printed parts from the J750, so if you like the sound of what you have heard but aren’t quite ready to buy a printer yet, fill in our bureau quotation form and we will be in touch with the price of a part printed on one of our machines.
Do get in touch with me or one of my team for more information, and make sure you ask us about our great value trade-in and trade-up scheme. We accept any 3D printer as a trade-in deposit against a brand new Stratasys machine, with generous savings available (terms and conditions apply).
