Evixscan 3d Heavy Duty Quadro

The Evixscan Heavy Duty Quadro (HDQ) is our high performance 3D scanner, which, thanks to its sealed, robust aluminium and carbon fibre construction (IP62), is at home being used in clean laboratory conditions or much more challenging environments such as dusty foundries or outdoors in unpredictable weather. Its two scanning ranges and high accuracy make it a highly versatile system suitable for applications such as accurate reverse engineering and fast 3D inspection of parts.

Key features

  • 2 pairs of 5Mpixel cameras for scanning two different ranges.
  • Scanning accuracy: 13 microns (VDI/VDE 2634 pt 2) for accurate reverse engineering and measurement.
  • Resolution from 65 microns, capturing fine detail.
  • Exceptionally good data quality to save time in downstream processing.
  • Unique laser rangefinders for fast and accurate setups.
  • Scanned volumes: 370mm x 265mm x 150mm and 150mm x 115mm x 90mm.
  • Lightweight and easily transported.
  • Built to IP62 standards using aluminium and carbon fibre for a highly robust system.

Software and accessories

The Heavy Duty Quadro is supplied with Evixscan software which drives the scanner and optional turntable. The software offers transparent control over data quality and allows views to be automatically registered using reflective markers or when using turntables.

A robust tripod with pan/tilt head is included as are all cables, calibration equipment and transport cases. A range of optional turntables is available with load capacities up to 1 tonne.

Also included is Leios Premium software which has a full set of tools for processing 3D scan data such as manual registration of views, decimation, hole filling, smoothing and much more. We also offer optional software packages for specific applications such as Geomagic Design X for producing fully CAD-ready reverse engineered models and Control X for fast 3D inspection.

All training and support is provided by UK engineers.
